Dr. Cooper is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Managerial Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Academic & Organizational Consultant with Synergy Global Resources. Synergy Global Resources is a boutique management consultancy that specializes in talent management, organization development consulting, human resources consulting, and outplacement consulting services. His expertise includes 20 years of experience developing search strategies, talent acquisitions models and solutions, candidate assessments profiles, and performance management solutions for a variety of industries. He has led national talent acquisitions teams in multi-billion dollar companies such as Siemens, Andrew Corporation, and SIRVA, and managed budgets of up to $8 million dollars.

 

Dr. Cooper's background also includes experience in the financial service industry as a registered representative with a financial services company. He holds a BBA of Finance from Loyola University Chicago, a MBA in Human Resources from DePaul University, and a PhD in Organizational Development and Change from Benedictine University. A certified six-sigma green belt, Dr. Cooper’s research interests are elearning, faculty development, social networks, talent management, and entrepreneurship.

 

Dr. Cooper enjoys golf, travel, baking cookies, and writing business plans.
